Yay! Girls Night Out!

Dirty Dancing was my favorite film when I was growing up. Since I've seen it about 42 zillion times, I think it qualifies as my favorite movie of all time. I've never seen it on the big screen, because there were no big screens where I grew up hehe. So you can imagine how exited I was when I saw a commercial for this on tv! :

Blog Challenge # 8

Wow, I'm actually doing Heather's Wednesday Blog Challenge on time for once. I should start calling it HWBC for short. This week's challenge is : Write about one of (or some of!) the things you did wrong when you were a kid. Wow.. where to begin? hehe

Well first of all, I've done the SAME thing that Heather did LOL! I went snooping under the bathroom sink and found mom's sanitary pads, and decided to try one on. Like Heather, I was sure that they were to be worn sticky side up. Uncomfortable!! hehe

Uncomfortable

Do you ever feel completely uncomfortable sometimes? I do. Like today. My socks both have holes near the big toes, my pants are full of static and rising up and clinging to my legs, and my sweater is too short. And today is Administrative Assistands Day, and no one has remembered or mentionned anything. Now I hope that they don't remember because then they'll say "Why haven't you mentionned it?" I just hate doing that "Hey look at me! Buy me lunch or something". It's weird though, normally at least the Deputy Minister or the Minister will at least send us a nice little email...

When I'm dead

I now know exactly what I'll look like when I'm dead. I saw it this morning in the mirror. I'm catching Steph's dang cold, and this morning I was in the bathroom and a mega wave of nausea hit me. I was trying to breathe it out.. I was on the throne, the trash bin next to me was overflowing with Steph's used kleenexes piled a foot high (it's in a corner)... as I was trying to decide wether I should throw the trash bin's contents all over the floor to have it empty and ready 'just in case'... I was having cold sweats and shaking and finally it passed.

I wanna work at Cranium!

Kelsie started it - My weekend in bullets :

  • The weather this weekend was absolutely gorgeous. It made me sooo happy. I spent the weekend outside :
  • Saturday Steph's parents came to help us fix the deck, and we had a BBQ for lunch
  • Sunday I washed the car inside out
  • Apparently this list will not be in chronological order
  • Friday we were in the Subway drive-thru when we saw a lady walking 2 ferrets just beside our car. That was freaky.
  • Then the Subway lady at the drive thru window started fah-reaking out because she's apparently been attacked by a ferret as a child. Even freakier.

Quirky Nancy

Heather's Wednesday blog challenge is about our quirks. I love reading about everyone elses! hehe We have a lot in common so far!

Oooh this is going to be good!

Yep that's my new haircut.

Did anyone forget to send Mother Nature the memo?

What horrible Spring weather! Holy crap it's depressing. First of all, my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, their families and everyone affected by the Virginia Tech shooting. Katie, I'm so glad that you and your family are safe.
