The Boy With The Incredible Brain - This video is quite fascinating. I wish I had this man's amazing brain abilities. The "real Rainmaker" [OOPS DH just emailed me to say that it's not rainmaker it's rainman!! my bad!] is also featured in this video. (The man who inspired the Rainmaker movie.) It's really interresting to learn about the link between those savants and autism.

Me want!!

This is what I want to do when I grow up

Last Sunday and Monday nights I couldn't sleep for different reasons. (Going back to work after vacay, Guylaine losing all her stuff in the fire, etc.) I guess I did a lot of thinking in bed. One of the biggest things is that I've finally decided what I want to be when I grow up. First of all, I've decided to stop feeling ashamed of being an administrative assistant aka Secretary. I'm going to stop saying that I'm 'just' a secretary. Because I've finally admitted to myself that I love doing it.

Reality Bites

If you're interrested, I just posted an update (weight loss) on my Reality Bites blog on ivillage :)

He wears his sunglasses at night..

It's 80's theme day at Steph's work! (They have fun theme days every Friday this summer that they get dressed up for and they have prizes for best costumes etc. Fun!)

Look at my 80's husband!! He looks like he's lost weight eh? (He's down 50lbs since January!! Well actually it's a little more than that but it's 50 recorded lbs because our scale only goes up to a certain number so he weighed 'error' for a week hehe)

Squirt me!

A nasal spray to relieve shyness ?? Awesome in theory, for someone as shy as me. But could I squirt too much up my nose and overdose on it and lose all my inhibitions and strip naked and talk without censoring my thoughts? hehe

Heather's Wednesday Blog Challenge # 18

HWBC # 18 - Confess away. It could be anything. You don't pay your bills on time. You haven't eaten a vegetable in three years. You don't know your times tables. You wear the same underwear two days in a row. You haven't yet washed the pot that's been in your sink for the past two months. Your neighbors complain because you mow your lawn too infrequently. You kiss your pet on the mouth. You talk to yourself out loud - and answer yourself.

Back to real life...

I'm back at work this morning. *cries*. I'm thankful for the great weather we had this past weekend, but man my vacation weather sucked hehe. But there are worst things in life than crappy weather.... My best friend's appartment burned down yesterday afternoon :( She's okay, she had called in sick from work that day and was taking a nap in her pyjamas when it happened. She said that she thought she wouldn't be able to get out.
