Pastafarian

Tonight will be so much fun! Guylaine and I have reservations at Pastalli's for 7pm. Yum! I'm thinking of having the Cashew Mussels appetizer, or maybe the Bruschetta, or share both with Guylaine. Then I'll have the Linguine Rustica, which is what I order every single time I go there hehe. It is the ONLY pasta dish that I like in all of Greater Moncton. (I'm really not a big pasta fan at all. But theirs is cooked just right. And it's delicious.)  And I'm definitely having dessert. Didn't you know?

Inspired by Justine

Justine's new blog theme inspired me to revamp mine too. And by revamping I mean taking 2 minutes to pick a new template and click on 'do it all automagically'. Lo and behold, I don't have the smushy paragraphs syndrome anymore!! Whoohoo! So I won't have to write some white [Spaces] between my paragraphs anymore hehe. I could have kept the old template and asked Steph to look at the CSS, since I just found the option right before switching templates, but as soon as I saw this one I wanted it :) You like ?

Oh, I have to write a 2nd paragraph, sans smooshies, just because I can :)

I hope you all had a nice Christmas :)

We had a nice Christmas. My parents arrived on the 23rd, and mom and I did some last minute shopping and took it easy. On the 24th we had our Christmas fondue, which is now officially a family tradition. We started to do this about 3-4 years ago and it's a great time to have a fondue and talk and catch up while the meat cooks :) On the 25th my brother and his girlfriend and her two kids came over and we all exchanged gifts. We were spoiled! My parents got me a food processor, a memory foam pillow, and a lighted cosmetic mirror with a magnifying side etc. Awesome.

I'm wondering...

Heather's Blog Challenges are BACK baby!!

This week's challenge : What amazes you? We have a tendency to be so cynical in today's society that we often forget to let ourselves be a little in awe. Start each line with "I'm amazed..." and go!

  • I'm amazed that it's -27 Celcius this morning and that we all don't pack up and move south.
  • I'm amazed that I'm having such a hard time thinking of amazing things. I guess I'm one of the bitter, twisted, jaded and cynical people of this world today hehe. Oh yeah and I'm a major PMS monster.

Boop, Boop.

  • 3.5 work days left before Christmas vacation!! WOOHOO! There are 4 days left but Thursday is our office holiday lunch so that afternoon is kind of a write off hehe.
  • WHY didn't anyone ever tell me that Pearl Jam sang "Reign Over Me" in the movie?
