Weekend Update!

What a great weekend! Mom arrived about 30 seconds after we got back from work on Friday evening. Loki and Belle were super excited to see each other; Loki is still worn out! hehe When Belle is in town, they play so well together. They can amuse themselves for hours with balls and squeaky toys. Mom made one of our family favorites for supper : Fried baloney with mashed potatoes, gravy, cold canned peas and cold canned yellow wax beans. MMmmm so good! Steph finds this meal ridiculous... so mom makes him Kraft Dinner to go with fried baloney. How is that less ridiculous?

My head is pounding, my nails are bit off

It's supposed to be 'My lips are shaking, my nails are bit off'... but my lips aren't shaking and my head is pounding. Brownie points for those who know what I'm rambling about :)

It's Friday yay! So this morning during my usual email conversations with Jill, Sophie & Holly, I asked everyone what they were up to this weekend, and they all made me feel guilty with their grand weekend plans, about declaring this weekend a total lazy-get rid of this cold I'm starting-read-SATC season 2, weekend.

Lust, Bitchiness, and Smartness Loserness

- Lust

I'm in total lust with David Cook on American Idol! Come to mama! His voice is delicious, HE is delicious, his Billie Jean arrangement was sheer genius; he truly made it his. I've been alternating it with his version of Eleanor Rigby since this morning. (Full versions on itunes!) I hope he wins! '

It's a gorgeous sunny day today! I decided to go to window shop in the mall at lunch.

Back, after a nice 4 day Easter weekend!

Hello internets! I hope you all had a great Easter weekend and I hope that the Easter Bunny found you too :)

So the kinda surprise event I was talking about the other day was Holly coming down from Ottawa for a surprise (to Kate) visit. Why does everyone love to surprise Kate so much? Since last year I've been to her surprise birthday party, surprise baby shower, and surprise Holly visit... It must be a great cardio workout to be surprised like that heh.

So... What do you think ? I think everything is pretty bang on except for the "You communicate well, you are confident, authoritative and aggressive." part... Maybe this is how I would be if I was a perfect Nancy hehe.

Will 2825$ assure a smart weight loss?

Okay, so you all know the contest that we applied for right?

Happy First Day of Spring!!

It sure doesn't feel like it, but I'm optimistic! I have been waiting for this day for weeks, planning what I was going to write on the first day of spring. I was going to blog about all the things I plan to do once the snow melts, until it comes back. The snow banks are still ridiculously high, but at least we're not in Bathurst! When we were young there was a saying everybody said that went "C'est pire que ca a Bathurst!" (It's worse than that in Bathurst).... well it really is now hehe. They've got another 45cm coming this weekend! Poor them.

Haunted House on Pierre St.

Have you ever heard a VERY loud unidentifiable "BANG" coming from inside your own house? This is like the third or fourth time (ever) that this happens in our house. Last night, I was letting the dog outside before bed, and I bent down to take a handful of salt to throw on the walkway, and I got startled by a very loud "BANG"! coming from inside the house. I thought maybe Steph fell down on the floor or something hehe.

You guys totally crack me up!!

I was sitting here at work, bored and frozen as usual, and I decided to fill out a questionnaire that I saw on a banner on one of the blogs I read. One of the questions was about the number of visitors that visit my blog every month. I had no idea, I couldn't care less. I don't do this for any type of compensation, or to establish a community... I just want to ramble without being interrupted. And I want people to give attention, comments, advice and everything via comments. (Thanks!) I love it.

Is my husband excited for St. Patrick's Day?

It's been a green day in the Vienneau house!

Yesterday evening, we put "Across The Universe" to play in the living room and we cooked up a storm in the kitchen. I made big ass pot of vegetable soup, Steph made a pureed broccoli soup, and together we made a big freaking batch of cabbage rolls. We froze some of that stuff in individual portions. We were done only done cooking at 11h30pm so Steph only tried a tiny bowl of his broccoli soup before storing it in the fridge.

Today at lunch, he grabbed his big container of broccoli soup the wrong way and dropped ALL of it in the fridge!!
