Long Weekend Update!
I should stop using the "Weekend Update" titles huh? Because it seems that all I post about are weekend updates now hehe. The Smartest Loser stuff is keeping me pretty busy, which is a good thing. I have less time to think about food, and I have to make sure to go to bed at a decent hour because I can't afford to be unecessary tired, with all the exercising we're doing!
So we had a 3 day weekend.. Well I did. Steph worked on Monday. He has Memorial day off. This past weekend was unofficially declared The Grossest Weekend Ever.
The Long Weekend Starts in 3 HOURS!!
The sun is shining, the long weekend is *this* close, and I'm looking forward to tonight's group workout at Centennial park. It's all Sunshine, Toffutis and Rainbows in my world! (Can't have lollipops anymore..)
This weekend I'm planning on : Cleaning, doing Laundry, working out, reading, watching Sex and the City episodes, going to see Prince Caspian in Theatres, sleeping in, mowing the lawn, working in the yard, bringing out firepit benches and bistro set out from hibernation etc etc.
AND..
This is kinda silly!
But it might prove to be useful when we can eventually possibly ever afford to take a trip in the states again :)
Weekend Update!
Well, really there's nothing news worthy that came out of my weekend. It was relaxed, low key, and rainy. We went to see "What Happens in Vegas", "Made of Honor", Spent the better part of Sunday peeling and deveining shrimp and cooking in preparation for the week. Called our mothers on Mother's Day.. Happy Mothers Day to all the Mommies!
Friday after work we went to our Smartest Loser group workout, which you can read about here.

This morning I had my compression sock fitting. Guess what ? I'm now apparently considered 'Average' and not "Plus" in the calf department! Wow, how did that happen? I don't know if I believe it, so I only ordered one pair to test this thing hehe.
Late Weekend Update!
I had a pretty uneventful weekend, which was exactly what I wanted hehe.
Friday night - Had our "last Supper" at China Coast (Near the Trinity Power Center, no one seems to know where that is hehe) We had gone there once for Holly's visit home during the holidays, and we had been really impressed. There were crab legs in the buffet! I had a horrible horrible cold though so I couldn't taste the food. So I dragged Steph to China Coast for my last chinese buffet supper. Ew. Totally dissapointing.
Weekend/Week Update!
Crazy week! That's my excuse for being so scarce. Here's what's been going on :
Thursday, April 24 - That night, mom called me and she sounded really really bad, like she had a bad cold. I made a lame joke: "Sounds like you've been crying!". She says "Well.. I was calling you to tell you that your uncle Laurier passed away today at noon."
Friday, April 25 - I learn that the funeral is going to be Saturday (the next day), because my two cousins (Laurier's daughters) have to be back in Montreal for Monday.
