Whoop whoop for the new Shoppers!

I am in love with that new Shoppers Drug Mart on Vaughn Harvey Blvd! After they sent me and my plague home at noon, I was dreading having to go shop for a bridal shower gift for tomorrow. My fuzzy pink slippers and PJ's were calling my name. I stopped at the new Shoppers to buy some ColdFX, that apparently a lot of people swear by. I'm waiting for it to kick in as I type.

So I decided to at least go look for the shower card there, found a good one. Then noticed their gift card section, and they had a great selection and I chose a Pier1 Imports gift certificate. That was easy!! I also picked up more lotion kleenex, my moisturizer which I had run out this morning - and it was on sale, yesss! 

And the best reason for my Shoppers Drug Mart love declaration today? They have VitaMuffins!! I've been hearing people raving about them on health/fitness forums for years. I thought they were only a myth! 100 cals each and 7g fiber... I'm off to try one now!

No, it's not on vibrate.. get your mind out of the gutter! It's because my blackberry finally connected to the network after days of stubbornness, and now it's going crazy and beeping and bopping and receiving days worth of emails and facebook notifications at once. And I'm at work. I'm up to... *checks* 88 facebook notifications and 60 emails. They're coming too fast for me to try and turn off the sound, without turning off the phone. At least one good advantage to having thunder thighs : they're good soundproofers. Mr. Blackberry has also started dying after not even a day's use.

I really shouldn't blog during Lost..

Because I keep having WTF! I missed something important moment and have to rewind hehe. I still think Lost is one of the most spectacular tv shows I've ever seen. Mind boggling. How the heck do they come up with this stuff? 

Holy mac the gym was busy yesterday. Their parking lot was extra full. There weren't even illegal spots left. We had to go park at the grocery store and walk to the gym! I've decided to keep a tuque in my gym bag in case we have to do that again... it's pretty cold on the sweaty head to walk back after a session hehe.

I also realized this week how many spelling and grammar errors can be spotted in closed captioning! Frig.. There is just no excuse for "close your ice"!

Yay! I can blog from work! It's ugly as hell and I can't see any images and I feel like I'm blogging in 1995... but at least I can blog from here again. Hopefully Steph will have time to make it prettier for me soon. This white page is kind of uninspiring.

Yay snow day!! 

I just finsihed uploading a bunch of pictures of the "cruise clothes" I got at the ridiculous Ricki's sale the other day, for my mom who wants to borrow them for her vacation in April. I have no make up, my hair is a mess, and I got tired of cropping out my dirty bedroom after a while... but here are the pics of the loot I got!! (That doesn't even include all the pants I got that day, among other things.) I paid like 220$ and got 1450$ worth!!

They're calling for a crap load of snow overnight... I'm really really hoping for a snow day tomorrow! I could use the day to vacuum everywhere and scrub the floors and clean the bathroom. I would also clean and re-organize the basement gym, if the real gym is too dangerous to get to.

As you've probably noticed, normally when I'm a little silent on the blog, it means that I'm having a rough time... usually off the diet wagon, or just sad, or PMSy.. something.

But this time, it's only because I'm still freaking blocked from my own blog at work - prime blogging spot! Hopefully Steph will have the time to figure something out sometime soon...

Of course our life isn't perfect, we could be thinner, richer, more fertile, more outgoing.. but where would be the fun in a perfect life. It would be like when you cheat on The Sims and after your Sim house is all pimped out, it gets really boring and you never play again.
