Nablopomo 2009

97. Take part and complete a Nanopoblo.(From my 101 Things in 1001 Days list)

I'm going to give it go again. I'm going to try to blog every single day during November. Hopefully you won't be too sick of me come December ;)

David Copperfield was pretty cool last night. I'm still wondering - How did he DO that?! At some point he threw big silver baloons in the audience (think exercise ball type things) and the person grabbing the ball as the music stopped would be part of a group that David Copperfield was going to make disappear. The ball landed right beside me, and none of us wanted to pick it up hehe. Some girl said she'd take it so she did. And we never saw her again. LOL! (It was the last act.)

This was my favorite Halloween weather ever. It was extremely windy, but the air was unseasonably warm. (17C/62.6F) It was eerie, but I loved being outside in the warm air, colourful leaves flying everywhere. Driving back from the magic show, it was super weird to see whole sections like Paul street completely black because the wind had knocked down power lines. I wonder if David had read my Facebook status where I wrote "I wonder if David Copperfield can make all of my extra weight disappear.", because all the good fast foods are on Paul street hehe. (closest to our house, anyway.) But we were so weak-willed for some fast food that we turned around and got A&W on Champlain. Bad, bad, bad.. I know...

Tomorrow night we're going to the Australian Pink Floyd concert. I've never seen them so I'm excited to go! We have 5th row tickets too! I've read online in some music forums that the APF show, because of the recession, were not using all of their lasers and special effects for this tour. Bummer. I hope it's still as pleasant visually as they say it is.

Soooo, Are you ready for 30 straight days of craziness? Any special requests for topics?

  1. The magic show sounds really cool. 62F is cold to me.

I've been thinking of doing NaBloPoMo, but I'm not sure what I would blog about every day.

  2. I had to tell MIL to "man up" this weekend because she was whining about the cold when it was 55 degrees. By the end of winter, that will seem like a heat wave after -11 occasionally!

I'm looking forward to a month of daily posts but can't think of any special requests.

  4. 62 degrees is "warm?" Oh my...it was 62ish on my way home last night & I was FREEZING! ;)

    Requests for posts:
    1. Tell the story of you & Steph. You know, meeting, falling in love, all that mushy gushy stuff.
    2. Do the "Realize" meme that has been floating around everyone's blogs as of late.
    3. I second Melly's request for a wedding post :)

I have a couple requests for posts, but of course, don't feel pressured!

    1. Stories from when you were a child

    2. Stories from when you were and adolescent

    3. A story about a time when you felt different from everyone else

    4. What was your wedding like? :)

I'm sure I could think of more.. but I'll stop! :)
