On my toes

Today has kept me on my toes! This morning just before noon, I was sitting at my desk, ignoring work when in walks my boss! This is like his.. hmm, maybe 2nd visit to our regional office in the 7.5 years I've worked there. So you can see why that was a little bit surprising hehe.

At noon, my coworker Sonia told me that she was buying me lunch and ordered us chinese. (Pleasant) Surprise!

At 4pm, Our family doctor's assistant called me at work to let me know that there would be an H1N1 immunization clinic from 6-9pm at the high school in Dieppe. She advised us to go since we fall in the high risk group (chronic diseases). It 'only' took about 1.5 hours. Not bad. I have a hard time getting shots.. it makes me panic. (anxiety attacks). Steph was good at calming me down.

I was finally calming down, when the telephone rings, and it's my dad telling me that he's in town, stuck at the garage, and can he come over for the night. *gulp*. Spent 5 minutes piling up the messes so that it didn't look so chaotic, sprayed some lysol, plugged a plug-in, and now my dad is settled in the living room with the Golf Channel.

Oh yeah, and I was VERY surprised by who won America's Next Top Model tonight. (And I'm also shocked that I didn't learn who the winner was on Facebook before having had the chance to watch it!) I love how not spoiling shows via status is now common sense!

I'm ready to relax for the rest of the night with no surprises though :)
Did I ever tell you how I hate surprises? Honestly. I'm a planner.

  1. I HATE surprises too! Especially the kind when ppl come over unexpected or say they will be over shortly. It makes me very angry and resent the person for a little while. lol

  2. They were surprises - but GOOD surprises! I think that's the best kind. :)
