Ooh, a Walk in the Woods is one of my faves!
I liked it, but I was a little disappointed that they only completed 40some% of the trail!! I read an online story (like a real book, in chapters) of a local couple who did the AT, and that was by far my favourite AT "book" so far! I wish they had it published... They talked a lot about the friendships formed along the way and less about the vegetation and wild life.. it was phenomenal!
I'm jealous that you read so many!! Good for you, though :)
So which do you prefer-to read in English or in French?
Mrs Lukie, I read 99% in english, which is a shame... I really should make an effort to read more french books. I guess my thing is I like to read books / see movies in the language they were made originally... there are often so much good stuff lost in translation! But because I mostly read english magazines, english sites, etc.... I'm more aware of new english books coming out and recommendations than french... But maybe I should make this a resolution for 2010 - Make a greater effort to not lose my french!
